on the groundfloor the cottage comprises the entrance hall, a large living room with TV, video and hifi, with a sitting area, a dining corner, a playing area for the children, and a fully equipped kitchen and one bedroom. On the first floor 3 spacious bedrooms with double beds, child's beds available. A bathroom with bathtub, shower and 2 lavabos.

Surroundings: the " Uitweg", with its 20 a (1/2 acre) garden is situated at the end of a quiet rural street with a view on the wooded hills. In the immediate neighbourhood you can find a lot of mapped out walks along mysterious castles, dark hollowways, old little chapels, idyllic places and magnificent vistas. While exploring the environment you pass through the cool woods of the Mount Chartreuse, the extensive and peaceful scenic area of the Winge valley and the Benningsberg, or along old wind and water mills and young vinegards. All this is to be found between the regions Kempen and Haspengouw. This is Hageland at its best. A landscape that offers you after every 100 meters and behind every bend of the way a surprising new view.

Not very far from here you can visit the towns of Leuven, Aarschot and Diest with their open-air musea of architecture and their rich cultural life. More to the south you reach Tienen and Zoutleeuw in the middle of the fruit area of Hageland and Landen, the cradle of the Carolingian civilisation
